Da Olgia...

Dissimo.jpg

From the village square of Olgia (805 m), go up the meadows using a convenient track that becomes more evident as soon as you enter the chestnut wood.
Once you have reached Alpe Caviano (1032 m), continue along the dirt road to the Cappelletta. From here starts a path, little signposted, which passing on the ridge of Monte Cavallina leads directly to the pastures of Alpe Rovina where you meet the path coming from Dissimo, the other village in the Vigezzo Valley from which you can reach Alpe Ruscada.

Along the route, well marked by CAI / CAS signs, you will meet in succession the Alpe Rovina di Sopra (1512 m), the Bocchetta di Cortaccio (1674 m), the Passo della Forcoletta and after crossing the border you reach the 1674 m of Alpe Ruscada. Cross the path that climbs from Spruga and continue towards the Cappellone.
